"Dahlia!" Rae cried out, thought nearly losing her balance as 'Uncle Charger' thundered past. "Shit..."
Gonna have to give her a talk about Chris very soon...
Grabbing hold of Luigi's sleeve, she speeded past Dylan and after the charger.

Chris only stared with a dumb-founded expression on his face as Dahlia zipped past him in fear. Akiko, Brock, Dylan, Hunter, and Tiney eyed him carefully. Luigi would have, but Rae was dragging him away in the direction the child went.
"She...She's scared of me!" the blonde-haired smoker exclaimed.
Akiko brushed past him. "Well you are scary-looking." she called over her shoulder.
Chris pouted and slouched his shoulders in disappointment. The special infected followed after the two survivors and charger, finding the little girl hiding in a crack between two buildings. It was too small for the others to fit. Akiko crossed her arms and huffed in annoyance.
"Great, she's never gonna get out of there. And there's still trouble around."
Hunter walked over to the edge of the crack and crouched down at the entrance, fixing Dahlia a red outlined, purple-eyed stare. "Hey, little girl." he said. "It's okay. You can come out."

Dahlia only whimpered quietly when Hunter spoke to her, cautiously edging towards the group. She stopped, however, when she spotted Chris again, hiding her face.
-----------------------------------------
The Jockey leapt from rooftop to rooftop, cackling merrily. The sack of goodies was slung over his hunched shoulders. For Jimbo, almost every day was a good day, because he always found something new and exciting. And he got to laugh all the time.
He liked laughing.
And so he made his way through the city's buisiness district, searching for his friends. They really weren't hard to find, when you really thought about it. How many infected talked? Not many.
He came to a stop, however, when he picked up a familier scent and some decicedly unfamilier scents. Peeking over the edge of the roof he was on, he supressed another loud cackle when he saw Dylan and the others. And, to his surprise, Luigi!
Excitement filling him, he hopped down ladders and windowsills to ground level, finally landing on a orange-wearing Charger's head, earning an angry "What tha' hell?!" from the one-armed infected.
Leaping off his head, Jimbo did a strange monkey-dance, clapping his hands and ignoring the angry glare from Norman.
"Found you! Found you!"He exclaimed, dropping the bag. "Jimbo found red people! Red people sent stuff! Like fire-man! He send powder that Akikko like!" He then turned to Luigi, hopping up and down, head bobbing with excitement. "Green here too!"
He stopped, however, when he heard Dahlia's whimpering, cocking his head. "Small human stuck?"

Staring at the Jockey's sudden arrival, the teen had to shake her head to clear her mind. How were they going to coax Dahlia out? They were all far to big to squeeze inside the small place.
And of course, Jimbo was chattering endlessly in what almost seemed like a foreign language. His small body was bounding around the group with endless energy-
Wait...small body...
"Hey, Jimbo..." Rae murmured, hoping the young special infected understood her. "Can you try and get the little girl-I mean, 'Small human' out for us?"

"Is there seriously something wrong with me?" Chris demanded, now annoyed that the girl wouldn't come out because of him. Quite frankle, he found nothing wrong with himself. His blue eye fell on their newest arrival. "Oh great, and here I thought thinking we got rid of him."
Dylan visibly scowled and Hunter moved away from the jockey when he came over to inspect Dahlia. Brock and Tiney just stared at him in amusement while Akiko looked just as annoyed as Chris. They liked the little guy, they really did. The only thing that they didn't like however, was his hyperness.
"Hey Jimbo," Luigi greeted before pouncing on what Rae proposed having the jockey do. "Y-Yeah! Could you try to get her out of there?"

"She's not afraid of you." Norman observed, a sigh escaping him. "She's afraid of Smokers in general. The one that was attacking earlier? Her own mother." Norman sighed again, his head throbbing a bit.
Meanwhile, Jimbo's cackling ceased altogether at the request, the little Jockey tilting his head, blinking. He scratched his head for a moment before snapping his fingers, an idea springing to mind.
He wormed his way into the crevice, somehow still refraining from his laughter. Dahlia glanced up at him at his approach, a quiet gasp escaping her. The small infected made several "Follow me" motions, heading back towards the groupd when he realized that she wouldn't move. Time for phase two.
Snatching the bear off her back, he immediatly thrust it into her hands, much to her confusion.
And then began tickling her. Plain and simple. A simple children's remedy that he recalled from when he was a human child. The stuffed bear acted as a muffler, keeping giggles nice and quiet.
After a few minutes of this tickle therapy (And one small case of hiccups from Dahlia.), Jimbo led her out of the crevice, the child slowly moving back towards Luigi, her head down.
"Sorry..." She murmured, shame in her voice.

"What are you apologizing for?" Luigi asked in confusion. None the less, he hugged her anyways.
"Her mother, eh?" Akiko said to Norman. Her claws flexed. "I wouldn't mind making sure the kid doesn't have to put up with her shit anymore."
Dylan turned, heading off again. "Come on. Let's get you three somewhere safe." he muttered.

Rae couldn't help but sigh in relief as both Jimbo and Dahlia emerged from the small crevice. She made a mental note to thank the young jockey later.
She ran a hand through her bangs as a headache began to make itself known. Doing her best to ignore it, she reloaded her gun and began to walk in pace with the others, Luigi's twin at the lead.
It wasn't long before a safe house came into view, and a few of her worries seemed to lift for the moment.
Finally...

Jimbo, still remaining unusually quiet, merely hopped onto Norman's shoulder, the Charger not bothering to try to shoo the small infected away.
As they all filed into the building where the safe room was located, a small convienience store. As the three humans filed into the safe room, Dahlia immediatly making a beeline to a small pile of blankets, grabbing one and nesting against the wall, clutching Mr. B as she tried to drift to sleep.
Meanwhile, Jimbo was occupied with staring at a building across the street, shuffling around nervously.

The special infected turned away when the survivors were safely in the safe room. Chris noticed Jimbo's state and tapped the jockey on the head with his tongue. Both Akiko and Dylan scrunched up their faces in disgust at the action. If their companion tried to touch them with that repulsive thing, he'd be dead within a heartbeat.
"What's up with you hoppy?" the smoker asked.

The Jockey, not at all repulsed by the tounge, giggled nervously, pointing at the building.
"Bad smell. Evil smell. THEY in there. Evil Mother, SHE near... Bad everywhere... She-Tounge somewhere near... Our reflections in there..."
The Jockey giggled fearfully again, shying away from the building in question.
"We no survive now. THEY will hunt us... Reflections and Mother..." Jimbo began to repeatedly mutter this to himself, heading inside the store.
Norman, on the other hand, was a bit more occupied with a different thing.
"Gunshots..." He mumbled to himself, eyes narrowing. "Other survivors?"
Laughter in the distance. More gunshots.
"Wonder who..."

"It doesn't matter." Dylan answered and followed Jimbo back into the store.
Chris followed. "I wonder what he was mumbling about reflections and all."
"I know he was talking about that female smoker I fought, but I've no clue what he's meaning about reflections." Akiko murmured from behind.
Meanwhile Brock and Tiney went off to go find a cake store seeing as the childish boomer wasn't giving up on his search so easily.

Later that night...
Jimbo was comfortably cozy on top of the counter when the safe room door opened, opening a rapidly twitching eye to see who it was (Being a Jockey, he was literally unable to sleep.). To his surprise, the little human came out, rubbing one eye sleepily. With a stumbling walk not unlike a common, she meandered over the water fountain, mumbling something unintelligable when she found she couldn't reach it. Luckily, Norman was there to give her a boost, helping his neice getting her drink before setting her down gently.
With a sleepy "Thank yew...", Dahlia began to shuffle back to the saferoom. However, in the dark, heavy with sleep, she couldn't exactly remeber which way to go.
As she stumbled, however, her small form bumped into something squishy and decidedly cake-smelling. And, without a second thought, the auburn child slumped against Tiney and fell back asleep.
Jimbo had to supress his well placed laughter.

Tiney opened one eye when he felt the child's weight on him before closing it and resumed sleeping. Hunter tipped his head to one side while Dylan snorted and curled tighter into a ball. Akiko smiled faintly. But Chris seemed...frustrated.
"Oh yeah! She's scared of me, but she'll use the morbidly obese one as a pillow!" he muttered.

Austin woke up wondering if everything that happened to him was a dream. He was still in the dark clothing store, so he wasn't dead or some supernatural world. But the witch that was cliching on him wasn't on him. Immedinately, he gave a sigh of relief and dismissed the events as a dream. However, when he saw a wedding cake next him, he was somewhat creeped out. The cake looked fresh, but where did it come from. It didn't matter for the hungry survivor as he started to chow down on the cake.
Unaware to Austin, the witch was walking to him, carrying a gift for him. It wasn't until she stubbled over a clothes tree that he realized the witch coming to him. The noise startled Austin as he tryed to for a weapon but he forgot he left his weapons at the counter. Yet, what was strange to the survivor was that the witch wasn't crying or angry. While his knew he should get a gun and try to crown her, something about this witch was different and friendly, so he decided to stay down.
The witch got up and presented Austin with the box. "This... for me?," nervously asked Austin. The undead woman merely nodded her head with a yes, which prompted Austin to take the box and open up the contants.
Austin was shocked at the gift she gave him as he pulled out a silk blue dress and a pair of white stilletto pumps. Austin didn't know what to say for this a quite awkward scene for him. For one thing, he wasn't a girl...or a crossdresser, except that one Halloween when he lost a bet and had to wear a French Maid outfit but he still didn't enjoy that. Yet, if he objected the offer, he knew she would shred him into pieces. Yet again, maybe it wasn't like that.
He merely gave a sigh and said, "Thank you...for the gift....I'm pretty sure this would look good on you." The witch gave a smile and then a giggle as she shook her head and pointed the dress then at Austin. "You mean this is for me." The witch nodded her head in a yes. "Look...I'm not a woman, nor do I like wearing women's clothing. So, I am not wearing this"
But the witch was not apleased with his words and started to growl. Austin knew he lit the fuse and unless he didn't do anything, she was going to blow. "Fine, I'll wear it," he gave in, which caused the witch to give Austin a quick hug before leading him to the dressing room. At least nobody else was here to see him.
