The following is a shortened account of the events taking place following the outbreak. Should you find anything that needs correcting, please post below.

Ulric
In Ulric, survivors Moro Ashford, Tara Luketic, Mason Breaker, Kameko Hoshi, Keith, and Roy Beivenmeijer find one another within the ruined central mall where, after pleasantries are exchanged, they alert the attention of a large horde. While everyone survives with varying degrees of minor injury, Moro has, for the first time, sustained wounds from the infected. She does not know whether or not she is immune to the virus, but keeps this information from her new companions.

In the dead of night, Moro slips away from their camp in the mall to seek some alone time. Skirting zombies down the streets of her home town, she breaks and enters the local watering hole, where she indulges in the liquor and examines her wounds, fearing she, too, will soon turn. Her isolation is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Mason who, after a brief exchange, begins to suspect that the young woman is hiding something from the rest of them. Before he can inquire, however, the door is barged in as Roy noisily makes his entry and makes himself at home. Tara is discovered to be rummaging around in the back storage room, and both Keith and Kameko find their way to join the party. After enduring a tongue lashing from both Tara and Kameko, the survivors take seats and drink- aside from Tara- while sharing their pasts. Kami shares of her mother's devastating passing and is comforted by Roy, who seizes the opportunity; Mason recalls his wife's death and the pain of his missing daughter; Tara remembers the day she lost her entire family and, too, succumbs to tears and is comforted by Keith; Moro, now fairly buzzed, expresses her guilt and anger in feeling like a possible threat to her new friends by destroying one of the upstairs rooms. Their miseries are interrupted, though, in the swift arrival of a horde; as Mason hurries to find and warn Moro, the young woman requests she help him feign her death to protect the rest of the group. He refuses, and the group is met by an approaching Tank who wreaks havoc among the survivors. In the aftermath following the fray, Kameko succumbs to her wounds, passes out of consciousness and has a realistic dream-like scenario of her own family. At her awakening, devastated to find herself back in the apocalypse, the asian admits defeat, sprints outside, and gets on the bad side of a Witch. The furious infected is blown away by a newcomer by the name of Shane Richardson, but not before Kami is able to be saved. After mocking her body, Shane is beaten by both Mason and Roy, but ultimately allowed to stay. Mason takes it upon himself to bury Kameko.

When Roy, Keith, and Mason head out to the nearby Walmart to scavenge for supplies, they encounter the residing infected inside and are rescued by the well-timed pipebomb of Tara's, who had trailed behind. Before long, Moro has arrived to join the chaos, and amidst the mess, a kid, Robert, adds to the confusion when he claims to be a Hunter. While he is dealt with, a new face enters; a gun salesman by the name of Devon Jameson.

Early one morning Moro finds herself the captive of four CEDA employees in biohazard suits, who parade her through the mall in a search for gasoline for their helicopter. She is rescued and one CEDA member taken prisoner of the survivors; one other is shot and killed, another knocked unconscious by Mason, and the last suffers broken ribs and dies, but not before pleading Tara's forgiveness for their brutality, handing them a map, and urging that they head North to Canada. The conscious victim they have tells them that the cities are overrun, and that they're not running to anything.

After failing to utilize CEDA's helicopter, the survivors take to the woods and are aiming toward Nevan's church, where they believe a possible evacuation point may be located. Along the way they stop in on Roy's hunting cabin where, to their surprise, they find a very injured, dirty, but very much alive Kameko. After internal squabble between Roy and Shane (who has begun to show brotherly interest in the girl), things seem to settle down, until Moro begins to show signs of becoming sick again.
