Name: Rozen (pronounced Raw-zen) Harlow
Name Meaning: Ruler
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen
Town: Ryland
Former Occupation: She was homeschooled before all of this and she worked at a family flower shop named Harlow Parlor
Height: 5'4
Ethnicity/Skin Tone: Caucasian, milky pale
Hair: Midnight black hair that goes just below her shoulder blades
Eyes: Bluish-Gray
Clothing Choice: Odie wears black skinny jeans and a long sleeved cotton shirt that cuts off at her shoulders. As for shoes, she wears gray high-tops with blue designs on them. She does have a purple plaid jacket for when it becomes cold out but she doesn’t usually wear it.
Personality: Odie is a quiet girl who rarely talks unless she knows you well enough and can trust you. Once you do get to know her however, she’s a sweet girl who likes to say random things about nothing and to simply look out for you. And even in hard times like these, she’s a dreamer and a hopeless romantic. Don’t be fooled though, she may be sweet and quiet at first but then she can be one of the meanest bitches you know. That’s the thing though, you don’t know if she’s angry or not. She tends to be very secretive, especially if you’re making her mad. And she gets distant, very distant. Distant to the point where she would rather be fed to the infected than talk to you. Overall though, she’s a very nice girl.
Strengths: Being so small, she’s agile and fast. She can run pretty far in a short time span and rarely get tired. And seeing as how she was a florist, she can identify plants and herbs like nothing. She even carries a small handbook around for just such an occasion.
Faults: Seeing as how Odie is secretive and distant, she rarely asks for help or goes near any other survivors. Then that causes her to get into even more trouble. Her imagination is a problem too. If she hears a tiny little noise, she instantly thinks of something horrible that could happen because of it. She's a worrier with a big imagination and rarely talks to people about it.
Sample Post:
Odie was quick and light on her feet. Thank God she was small, or else. As she crept past some of the infected, she held her breath. She prayed they wouldn't see her, or smell her for that matter. She just wanted to disappear, become invisible among these things. But that was almost impossible, just like it was impossible to bring her parents back. Odie held her baseball bat close to her as if it were a child. She cradled it protectively and silently watched as these demonic creatures ignored her. As she passed them, she thought of her parents and everyone who had passed and become one of them. Secretly though, she hoped her parents were still alive and thriving out there somewhere. Her parents weren't easy to stop, that's for sure. Especially her mother, always finding away to prevail somehow. A small smile crept along her pale lips as she remembered her. Tall, beautiful and always had something to say. Her father was the complete opposite though but as they say, opposites attract. She had suddenly stopped though and held her weapon close. Something was up ahead. Something horrible.
The distinctive crying gave it away. The way it sobbed lonely and broken, hurt and torn. She felt oddly sorry for the creature. Odie breathed in coarsley as she sorted out her options. She had a choice; to either go past the Witch and hope to God it didn't attack her or go through a whole horde of lesser infected. Odie looked down to her feet and her bat. She had to either be quick and light on her feet, or be swift at swinging. She didn't have much time to decide either. She chose the infected. She didn't feel like getting torn apart today.
Before she actually took off though, she prepared herself. She checked for anything loose on her, just in case it would be the down fall of her. Everything was ok there. She looked to her shoes, in case they were untied. Didn't want to trip half way through and die. She made sure her bat was ready for killing so she could get past easily. But what if something completely different came to attack her? What if she wasn't prepared? She began to get cold feet as she waited there. She touched her bat and weighed her options. She then decided that she would go upon hearing an extremely alarming wail close behind her. Hopefully nothing would get to her before she past. She only hoped.
Notes: Her full name is Rozen Odette-Marie Harlow. She doesn't like her full name and thus, she just uses "Odie" as her given name. Her choice of a weapon is a baseball bat, considering she doesn't really know how to use anything else.
