The story takes place in a 170-mile range in Illinois within three cities;
Ryland was the big, happening city,
Ulric was the medium-sized establishment on the bay,
and Nevan was the smaller, rural countryside.
All three have been hit hard by the infection but, as it is in most places, some have been able to survive. Those that have been fortunate to be immune to this epidemic and have so far lived through the murderous times, as well as those left unbitten, do their best to stay undetected by the infected and scavenge what they can.
Your character will begin in one of these three towns, either as a resident or a traveler that happened to get stuck.
From there, the story is yours.
