"Damn right," Austin nodded with agreement. Despite knowing Keith for a few minutes, he started to like him. He didn't seem like smart fellow, but he was nice guy and someone who he could see as trustworthy. However, the redneck could use a bit more brains as it seem he has no sense of direction.
"Sure, why not," Austin replied, "Besides, I was the one who saw the shop." Assuming he was taking the lead, he placed his weapon at a low ready and began to retrace his path through the graveyard of boats. He kept on the look out for any infected that might ambush the duo. Except for the rocking of the boats and the ripples in the water, the docks were quite silent, which was a neutral feeling. To his relief, there weren't any witches or any special infected to deal with but the tension was still there. In the attempt to break some of this tension, Austin figured some small chat would do them well. "So Keith, what's with the berka? I know it can get chilly in the North, but the snow shouldn't come in for a month or two."

Keith followed, simply because he was willing to admit that he’d be lost otherwise. (Which reminded him of a funny story involving Ellis, a g.p.s., and the local forest preserve...)
He didn’t bother keeping an eye out for zombies (he’d worry about that if it came to it), but he was more than happy to chat; the post-apocalyptic silence was creepy. “Well, first off, it’s a helluva lot colder here than Georgia,” he explained. “An’ second off, I look kinda strange under here and I don’t want no one thinkin’ I’m a zombie. See, sometimes I got this third eye that pops up an’ I never know when it’s there, but it really freaks folks out so I wear this ol’ scarf just in case.”

He understood the fact it was cold. Austin didn't underestimate the harsh winters up in the North. He wished he saved the jacket top of his camo. However, the second reason creeped Austin out. A third eye? Must be a really bad boil or tumor. "Umm...have you ever went to a doctor to check it out?"

“Heh...hehe...” Keith snickered behind his scarf, a controlled sort of laugh, as though Austin had just asked if he’d considered asking aliens to heal him. “A d-doctor? Ha...” As if he could afford a doctor! Oh, man, that was hilarious! Still chuckling, Keith threw a brotherly arm around Austin’s shoulder. “You’re a funny guy, Austin. Real funny.” He sighed. “Y’know, my friend from back home, Ellis? He’s funny too. I gotta find him sometime, you’d like ‘im!”
