A safe room… Wasn’t that the original plan that he and his companions had?
Speaking of, were they actually in the safe room? Did something befall them without him? Probably not, but odds were something would befall himself if he remained out on his own with a man who would rather hide.
Sanity retaking his body, he sheathed the blade before turning away from the man, pausing only for moment to glance over his shoulder.
“Are you coming? I’ve already located a Safe Haven with my companions, no sense in searching.” He paused again. “And do not refer to my blade as a ‘trinket’.”
That said, he left the arcade rather quickly, heading back the way he had come. He realized that yes, he was covered in even more blood and gore, and yes, this would probably agitate Thomas and Dave, but it was a small price to pay for clearing out more of the infected from the location. That and he had located a possible ally. The key word being possible.
…-only if it's to gather supplies and only supplies," Thomas’s voice carried to Noah’s ears, "It means we're only going to take what we need and that's it."
The monk grinned a bit, shaking his head. He was going to have to tell the man to tone down his voice a bit. But there was the chance he was actually just nearby.
But what was he (And he assumed Dave as well) doing out of the safe room? He figured they would have stayed in there. Rounding a corner, he stopped when he saw a figure head straight into a restaurant. Dave, judging from the clothes.
Noah slowed his pace a bit as he strolled into the store, the American already behind the counter in a search for… Something. Probably food, seeing as it was a restaurant.
As quietly as he could, he walked over to the counter and casually lean against it, letting the young man go about his task without any disturbances. The monk was in no particular rush now, and if Dave found some unspoiled food, well, all the better!

Dave's defienice was getting on the businessman's nerves. He may not be his parent (God forbid), but he was the older and wiser one of the two making him somewhat responsible for him. When Dave mentioned venturing a lingure store, it made Tom wish he had a woman for a partner. At least there was the chance of him getting laid before dying.
Just then the hick immediately left Thomas's sight. The businessman figured he should head over to the saferoom, but he needed company. Thomas ran down the esculator and chased down the redneck. He followed the southerner to what appeared to be a Pizzarria. He walked into the abandoned pizza shop. "Seriously, I doubt this is the best time for pizza," he spoke with an hint of agitation to his voice. Especially since this seemed like the best place for those boomer zombies.

Some flour, some eggs (not good, if he went by smell), a few half-jars of pizza sauce, and some weird-looking packages of mozzarella lumps. The sauce was probably still edible, but Dave couldn’t judge the cheese. He’d seen mozzarella lumps in a store before, and they looked gross whether they were good or not.
”Seriously, I doubt this is the best time for pizza.”
Dave jumped, his skull missing the counter by a mere inch as the kick leapt to his feet, already starting his objection: “There ain’t never a not-best time for pizza, Tommy!” he yelled, reaching out to point an accusing finger at Tom and very nearly poking Noah in the process.
“Oh,” he said, staring for a moment at the monk. When had he gotten here? “That was fast. Anyway...” He spared one last vitriolic glare at Tom before grabbing a mozza-chunk and showing it to them. “Was it cheese or booze that gets better with age?”

Jesus Christ! Someone has their panties in a knot! Ellis thought inwardly. He followed the monk-looking guy out of the arcade, down some escalators, and towards Pizza-zilla. That place made the best damn pizza in the world!
He stopped a few feet away from the monk and what seemed like two other people. Honestly, if the monk was about to stab him for supposedly turning into an Infected, he had no idea what the others would think. They’d probably have a panic attack and point a blade at him too.
“Was it cheese or booze that gets better with age?”
“Booze,” Ellis automatically answered without thinking. “If you ask me.”

Noah chuckled slightly at Dave's reaction, the American seeming to be surprised by his sudden reapperence.
"Of course, Dave. I told you I would be back." Noah responded, pushing himself away from the counter.
The white-haired man had been quick to follow in as well, already answering Dave's question without a second thought. Hopefully no one thought with their weapon first like he had done...
"There are certain cheeses that better with age, however." Noah added, raising an eyebrow to the man. "The ones here, however, I doubt are those cheeses."
He straightend, gesturing to the white-haired man. "Also, I think you'll both be interested to know I found another human being." He grimaced. "Hiding in a closet while a Horde was pounding at the door." He decided to leave out the part about the explosive being thrown at him, seeing as it probably wasn't intentional.

Didn't he mean, 'There wasn't a not-best time for pizza.' Or better yet, 'There is always a good time for pizza.' It's seems like whatever school he went to obviously failed him to teach him proper grammer. The businessman chuckled at his victory due to Dave's use of a double negetive. "I know, this isn't not the best time to not make a pizza."
The appearance with Noah shocked Thomas. Then again, he was a man full of surprises. He was covered in blood (as expected) and he brought along a companion. He was tall and oddly enough, while young had white hair. He couldn't tell if it was natural or bleached it just to be hip. If he was going for the hipster appeal, he deserves to be smacked. He still wondered how useful the kid was.
"So, what's the name?"

Dave glared at Tom, first. Honestly, he had no idea what the man said (or how it was different from just repeating Dave’s statement but with fancy lawyer-grammar), but he settled for momentarily flipping the guy the bird and leaving it at that. After all, they had company.
The little white-haired fella had answered even without introducing himself, and almost immediately after the words left the boy’s mouth, Dave’s eyes widned, he slammed his fist in the counter, pointed, and yelled, “Holy shit it’s the ghost that stole Keith’s wallet!”
But no; according to Noah, it was simply a closet-survivor that the monk had temporarily adopted. Dave turned a wince into a smile, squeaked an embarassed “Oh, got it,” and nodded. “Okay, sorry, sorry. I uh...mistook you for...someone...else...” Playing with the apparently-useless (except as a stinkbomb) cheese as a ball, Dave immediately jumped on the question of names. Tom had introduced him last time, now it was Dave’s turn. “Well, since you already know Noah, I’ll introduce us guys,” he declared with a grin. “I’m Dave, and Crab-Apple over there, he’s Tommy.” He leaned forward over the counter, a devious smirk on his face. “No matter what he says, always call ‘im Tommy. Trust me.”

Ellis scowled lightly when the monk, whose name apparently was Noah, introduced him to the other two. Well, at least they hadn't pointed their weapons at him.
“No matter what he says, always call ‘im Tommy. Trust me.” the guy playing with the cheeseball said.
"Will do," he whispered back before deciding he may as well tell these people his name. "M'name's Ellis. And believe it or not, but I was born with the white hair." He tugged on a strand. "I'm not going for any hipster appeal so don't think that. I don't want to be smacked or anything."

Noah snorted as the three introduced themselves to each other, amused by their interactions. However, the mall was beginning to take on a darker tone, the light slowly fading and darkness creeping in.
"Well, this is fine and good, however, the light fades, and I would hate to be caught in the dark with one of those hooded demons. Shall we return to our safe-"
He stopped, however, when a loud crash reached his ears, followed by a distant (and angry) bellow. The monk slowly reached for his blade, eyes darting. It wasn't here... Yet. But it may very well find them.
"With all haste, let us be off."

Thomas chuckled at Dave's responce. It was fun out witting the witless; it was like the joy you would get from stealing candy from a baby. Though despite having a sense of victory, he still grew irritated when the redneck called him 'Tommy.' The businessman still kept a straight face, though gave a glare at Ellis that stated if he did call him Tommy, he will be beaten senselessly.
The businessman also heard the bellows of the mystery zombie. He agreed with the monk that they needed to move out. Well, they were suppose to be in the safe room.

Dave stared at the new guy, almost unblinking. That...That was not Ellis. No had, no concert shirt, no recognition... “You can’t be Ellis,” he blurted, not thinking. It took him a moment for his mind to catch up; there was more than one Ellis in the world. “Oh,” he said, scratching his head and chuckling nervously. “Sorry. Was thinkin’ of someone else.”
Fortunately, any further awkward silence shattered under the weight of something’s huge roar. Well, that was one way to encourage everyone onward. “Haste, right, sounds good,” Dave said, nodding and leaping back over the counter, leaving the mozza-ball to land on the floor with a sick thwack. He motioned towards the escalator, leading the way. “The safe-house is up there, to the left-ish.”

Ellis' eyebrows rose at Dave's statement (He was completely unaware of Thomas' glare). He then shrugged it off before growing nervous when he heard the loud crash follow by a roar. In a flash, he was already heading for the escalator.
"I dunno 'bout you guys, but I don't want to stick around when that thing comes." he called over his shoulder.

Well, good to see that everyone was on the same page for getting to the safe room. Noah wasted no time in following his companions, heading up the escalator and down the hallway once more. It was a bit strange, not having the undead bearing down on them at the moment. But really, what did he expect? He had killed a fair number of them at the arcade, and they had done nothing else to draw attention. Except for the loud crash that they had heard only moments before. But that, for whatever reason, did not bring in a Horde.
Oh well.
The safe room was soon in sight, and Noah decided that he might as well check behind them. Make sure that one of those leaping demons wasn't after them.
Pausing for a moment, the monk turned around, eyes widening when he spotted the source of the crash. A Tank, slowly trudging out of the arcade in frustration. It hadn't noticed them yet... But no reason to let it.
"Inside, quickly." He lowered his voice as he said this, gesturing towards the towering demon-zombie. "There is the source of the noise." He moved to the side of the safe-room door, waiting for his companions to get inside before closing the door.

Thomas followed the group back up to the safe room. He had no intention in finding out where those sounds were coming from. Sadly, he did get a glismp of it downstairs in the lobby while going up the esculator. It looked like a man if he taken too many steroids. Hell, could you even call it a man? The businessman simply kept his cool and followed the monk's led into the safe room. Hopefully, that thing won't notice them. If not, everyman for himself.

Boy, was he ever glad Keith wasn’t around. That thing was at least as big as three normal people and probably stronger than the trio combined. It was built like a freaking tank or something! Dave nodded his agreement with Noah’s warning and crept up the escalator, down the hall, and to the safe room. He checked to make sure that Ellis (the New Ellis) was following before ducking into the safety beyond the red door.
